Boulder County open space officials have recruited a panel of small-scale farmers, including Wyatt Barnes, co-owner of Red Wagon Organic Farm, to advise it in considering the launch of a program that would lease parcels as small as three acres for farm projects on open space. The officials are considering the 45-acre Peck Property, a field southwest of Longmont, as a test site for the project, according to Longmontfyi.com.
